Where Are Springwood Studios Located?

Springwood Studios is easy to reach whether you're travelling by train or car.

By Car

From the M62, take junction 24 and follow signs to Hebden Bridge via the A629 and A646. Continue on the A6033 (Keighley Road) north out of town. Midgehole Road is on your left after half a mile.

From Keighley Road, turn left onto Midgehole Road, after 250 yards you see a 30mph sign on the left at the entrance to a track. Take this track, its not very promising, its narrow and a bit bumpy, but don’t worry. Spring Wood Studios is after 100 yards on the left hand side.

Parking: Free on-site parking, for Studio One on the cobblestones right outside your door. For Studio Two on the tarmac.

What's Hebden Bridge Like?

Hebden Bridge is a 15-minute walk from the studios via a flat riverside path. It's a former mill town known for its independent spirit—think bookshops, vintage shops, cafés serving locally roasted coffee, and a lively arts scene.

What you'll find:

  • Independent cafés, delis, and micropubs

  • The Hebden Bridge Picture House (1920s cinema that serves tea and cake at your seat)

  • Weekly markets and local craft fairs

  • The Rochdale Canal and riverside walks

  • Live music at venues like The Trades Club

Where Should I Eat & Drink?

Hebden Bridge has a brilliant food scene with plenty of independent cafés, restaurants, and pubs to choose from. Here are some we'd recommend—all within a 15–20 minute walk from the studios.
