Inside Studio One

Studio One is a light, open-plan, one bedroomed apartment on the upper-ground floor of Springwood Studios, it is set in a quiet wooded valley, just above Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire. Parking is right outside the apartment providing very easy access.

The space

Inside the space is simple and comfortable, with windows on all sides the natural light floods in.  The bedroom has a king sized bed, bedside cabinets with individual reading lamps, a wardrobe, a large chest of drawers, a full length mirror and a Juliett balcony with wide-opening double doors and far reaching views across the valley.

The relaxing sounds of the river are a favourite feature with our guests. There is a modern shower room, with unlimited hot water.  

The kitchen has a full sized hob, oven, fridge, pans, utensils, crockery and glasses so you can cook meals in. There is dining space for two at a convenient breakfast bar with stools, plus a comfortable sofa, soft pouffe and small side- table for relaxing evenings in front of the TV. There is also a writing desk and chair should you need to work at a computer whilst away from home, making the place practical for longer stays as well as weekend breaks.

How far is the walk into Hebden Bridge?

From the door, a riverside and woodland path takes you into Hebden Bridge in around 10-15 minutes on foot (approximately 0.7 miles), following the valley into the town's cafés, pubs and independent shops.Waymarked paths lead directly from Springwood Studios into Hardcastle Crags National Trust woodland (Gibson Mill is approximately 1 mile from the property). The open Pennine moors are accessible via local trails.

Who is Studio One best for?

Studio One works well for couples or solo guests who want a calm base close to Hebden Bridge but surrounded by woodland, river and hillside views. It particularly suits walkers, runners and cyclists who want to park once and explore straight from the door.

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes, free on-site parking is included with your stay. You can park right by the studio, so you won't need to use your car once you arrive.

  • Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am. If you need to arrive earlier or leave later, just ask when you enquire – we'll do our best to accommodate where possible.

  • Yes, it's a 15–20 minute riverside walk into town along a flat woodland path. You'll follow Hebden Water down into the centre – an easy, scenic route.

  • We typically ask for a minimum of two nights, though this can be flexible depending on availability. We tend to require longer stays on bank holiday bookings

  • Yes, well-behaved pets are welcome. Please let us know when you enquire so we can make sure the studio is set up for your four-legged friend.
