Inside Studio Two

Studio Two is one of two self-contained, one-bedroom apartments at Springwood Studios, set in a quiet wooded valley between Hebden Bridge and Hardcastle Crags in West Yorkshire.

The space

Studio Two is a one bedroom apartment with modern shower room, a comfortable sofa and a dining table, plus a fully equipped kitchen. Natural light fills the space with large windows overlooking the valley. There is a private wooden deck balcony, overlooking the river. The balcony has outdoor furniture where you can sit with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while listening to the river below.

The kitchen has a full sized hob, oven, fridge-freezer, with pans, utensils, crockery and glasses so you can cook meals in. The extendable dining table with chairs can double as a work station, making the apartment practical for longer stays as well as weekend breaks. The large sofa, small tables and foot pouff make for a comfortable evening in from of the TV.

How far is the walk into Hebden Bridge?

From the door, a riverside and woodland path takes you into Hebden Bridge in around 10-15 minutes on foot (approximately 0.7 miles), following the valley into the town's cafés, pubs and independent shops.Waymarked paths lead directly from Springwood Studios into Hardcastle Crags National Trust woodland (Gibson Mill is approximately 1 mile from the property). The open Pennine moors are accessible via local trails.

Who is Studio Two best for?

Studio Two works well for couples or solo guests who want a calm base near Hebden Bridge with outdoor space to relax. The private deck balcony with river views makes it particularly suited to guests who like to sit outside with a book or a coffee, or who want somewhere to unwind after a day walking the moors or exploring nearby towns.

It's a good choice for walkers, runners and cyclists who want to park once and explore straight from the door, with the added benefit of outdoor seating to enjoy the valley and river setting.

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes, free on-site parking is included with your stay. You can park right by the studio, so you won't need to use your car once you arrive.

  • Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am. If you need to arrive earlier or leave later, just ask when you enquire – we'll do our best to accommodate where possible.

  • Yes, it's a 15–20 minute riverside walk into town along a flat woodland path. You'll follow Hebden Water down into the centre – an easy, scenic route.

  • We typically ask for a minimum of two nights, though this can be flexible depending on availability. We tend to require longer stays on bank holiday bookings.

  • Pets are not allowed in Studio Two. If you're travelling with a pet, Studio One welcomes pets and assistance animals.
